Depending on who you talk to or what you read online, experiencing McCall Idaho’s Backcountry in the Winter is a must do at least once! For the locals, it’s considered a tradition or a staple part of living here that one gets to experience in which is taken for granted. For tourists and family’s, this is a yearly tradition, and for bloggers it’s the new cool hip idea and they have spread the word far and wide bringing in people from all over for others to see for themselves. Burgdorf Hot Springs

First stop on the exploring trip is the peaceful, calming and historic Burgdorf hot springs located thirty-five miles north of McCall. Burgdorf offers cozy cabins and renewing soaking pools. This experience is open to the public but soak times and cabins are upon reservations, so be quick to snatch a soak time or reserve that overnight.
Secech
Next up on the trail of exploring is Yeti backcountry pizza and tap house. This is a NEW establishment located between Burgdorf and Secesh Stage Stop. This restaurant will be hosting watch parties for games and UFC fights. All around classic family fun!
Following those two great places on our trail ride is Secesh Stage Stop. This restaurant is your classic aesthetic with a turn of its own personality! With the food not just being amazing but the fun in writing your name on a dollar and sticking it to the dollar wall will always be a memory that you HAVE to make. Secesh also offers cabin stays so if you’re looking for a place to rest after all the excitement planned make sure you give them a call!
Warren
Last but not least on our ride is Warren Baum Shelter formerly known as Winter INN. This last stop offers lodging, a full bar and a restaurant. To stay in this beautiful historic site just go ahead and give them a call to book that reservation!
Brundage Mountain
With Four great places to stop and or stay it’s completely worth the ride and experience! be sure to note that the three places listed to stay in, its camping style such as bringing bedding and little propane tanks to light small portable stove tops and such! This experience is to take you off the map for a bit and get you in touch with nature and to breathe in the fresh air around you!
